Fibre Fale & Julia Arnott-NeeNee

Shruthi has coached Julia, the founder of Fibre Fale, an award winning social enterprise supporting Pacific people in technology pathways.

She has coached Julia personally and professionally through her journey of starting and growing the organisation to a point where it has been able to support a core team of full time staff and run a range of capability building building programs for the Pacific Community.

Over 6600 people have attended Fibre Fale's in person events and leadership camps and experienced a range of impacts such as  belonging and strengthening their cultural identity, growing skills and confidence to lead in the tech sector and greater self determination in their journeys.

Over this period Julia has experienced a great transformation and although being in the demanding role of founding a startup, Julia has been able to nurture greater peace, ease, contentment and clarity as she continues to fearlessly chart her own course and boldly challenge traditional systems and power structures.

Shruthi has also coached Julia’s fellow Directors Eteroa and Saphron, run strategic workshops with the team, and with emerging technology leaders on navigating and transforming capitalism and stepping into their power. The Fibre Fale team have challenged traditional (Western) approaches to strategy and impact measurement, developed their own models grounded in their Pacific values and worldview and supported their community to tap into Ancestral Intelligence and wisdom in navigating the technology sector grounded in their cultural roots and strengths.

In the words of Julia and the team:

“We describe Shruthi as our 'secret sauce', like if we were an NBA or Olympic team and we had just brought home a gold medal and were asked "So, tell us what's your secret?" our answer would be Shruthi... absolutely, wholeheartedly, 100%, Shruthi.

Shruthi has exponentially altered the growth and direction of our whole team and our Fibre Fale community. I don't say this lightly but we have changed, and we have changed for the better from our time with Shruthi. She is one of the biggest blessings to our journey and we will forever be grateful for our time together. Truthfully, I hope it never ends!”
