Fire Circle

The Fire Circle is an initiative connecting Elders of different Indigenous & Wisdom traditions with business and social impact leaders to explore what it means to lead, live and innovate rooted in values such as reciprocity, interconnectedness, guardianship, respect. Along with Matt Sykes, Lorna Davis and Yolgnu Elder Djapirri Mununggirritj, Shruthi co-created the initiative and the team has run a range of short courses and online gatherings supporting wisdom exchange.

The Woven Way is a signature 7 week course where guided by various Elders participants explore innovation, transformation, and creating new projects guided by the flow and intelligence of life. The Fire Circle also brings Indigenous Elders to universities and other education related avenues.

In the words of The Woven Way participants:

“This journey has given me groundedness and expansiveness, it was especially profound given I was coming from a place of disconnect, from my work and project, self and feelings, the world and the people around me. This experience has been the root to ground me and allow all aspects of life and work to grow.”

— Imche Fourie, former CEO Outset Venture

“I joined woven way thinking I was missing a piece of information I needed. I left Woven Way relaxed, knowing the path I was looking for was within me. Knowing everything perfectly unfolds if you have a pure intention as many indigenous cultures tell us, something I knew intellectually before this course for the most part but not necessarily embodied. The course wasn't an information thing, it was living that knowing in every day, with a group of supportive humans walking alongside you.”
